GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Mail all submissions to; justeliterary@gmail.com
Kindly attach your submission as a word doc, docx or pdf (In cases of form retention). Keep the piece(s) double spaced and in standard 12-point. Also, Include a short cover letter, a 50-word third person bio and any social handle or personal professional website we may link your work to for recognition should you be accepted for publication.
POETRY
Please submit no more than 3 poems per at once. Poems might be in a single folder or separate folders but ensure that each poem starts on a new page. There is no limitations to length, form or style. Hit us with your creativity!
FICTION
Please submit up to 1,500 words per flash piece per submission period.
PLAYS AND NOVEL EXCEPTS
Please submit a maximum of 7 pages of Excerpt or Play at a time. Also, kindly keep the formatting readable.
RIGHTS
When we publish works at Juste Literary, we will obtain First Electronic Rights and Non-exclusive Archival Rights. The author retains all other rights. If you choose to reprint your piece in a book or anthology, we kindly request that you acknowledge its initial appearance here.
We prefer submissions to be previously unpublished, although exceptions can be made if the work was removed due to a magazine closure or if it has undergone significant changes since publication. Please contact us via email to discuss such cases.
If your work is accepted elsewhere while under our consideration, please inform us via email. We will be grateful to have been considered and will happily congratulate you on your exciting news. You have the right to withdraw your submission at any time before publication, and we will fully respect your decision.
At Juste Literary, we value the voices of everyone and do not tolerate any discrimination. Therefore, we will not consider any work that we find offensive towards any race, gender, ability, orientation, or creed. We also kindly ask that gratuitous sex and violence be avoided in submissions.
We do not charge any submission fees, and unfortunately, we are unable to provide compensation to our contributors at the moment.
